X Factor 2008 – Final 12′s Charity Single – Help For Heroes

In what was a world premier, the remaining ten acts were joined by members of Girlband and Bad Lashes to perform the single that everybody hopes will be going straight to Number One. During the results show, the finalists put all their rivalries to one side and took to the stage as a unit, a group of people with the power and opportunity to do something for the greater good. And when they all began to sing the Mariah Carey classic, Hero, in perfect harmony – it was obvious something special was happening. Proceeds from the record will be divided equally between Help for Heroes a charity that provides support for wounded servicemen and women, and the Poppy Appeal.
