‘Ring It, Sing It’ Contest for Engaged Couples
Blue Nile sent me a note earlier this week announcing a contest for US-based engaged couples over the age of 18 looking to commemorate their nuptials with a one-of-a-kind experience, namely a song written and performed just for them or a custom made ring of their choosing.
Starting November 2nd, eleven weekly winners of the ‘Sing It’ portion of the contest “will have their love story put to music” by band Green River Ordinance through recorded telecommunication software.
The ‘Ring It’ portion of the contest is considerably more involved, with the winners receiving an all expenses paid trip to New York City on November 29th for Cyber Monday, the official first day of the holiday shopping season. The winning couple will then stand with Blue Nile at the opening bell of the NASDAQ, where the groom-to-be will propose using a custom made ring of his choosing. The proposal will be televised live across Times Square, and then serenaded live by both singer Josh Jenkins and Katherine McPhee in separate performances.
Both contests start November 2nd and continue through the holidays. ‘Ring It’ entries conclude November 15th, while ‘Sing It’ entries and winners will be announced every week throughout the holiday season. To enter, visit Blue Nile’s Facebook page.
