A due date calculator might help you to decide how to name your new born baby. First of all a due date calculator is a simple formula that returns the day you are due, when you insert few simple variables. Of course it’s not very accurate but it is very good for estimate the awaited date. So after you know the estimate day your baby will be born you can make a research on what happened on this particular day in history.

For example if you came up with the date of 26 September. You might name your baby, Bjorn, Benny, Agnetha or Anni-Frid which are the names of the successful Swedish band ABBA, which started recording on 26 September 1972. Other examples are Isaac Newton born in 4 January 1643, and in August 15 to August 18, 1969 the first Woodstock Festival took place, which is a great inspiration for hippies’ names.

If you still can’t decide a name by history dates than you might try other ways. The simplest way is to make a list of baby names that you like and choose the only one you like the most. You can also get great ideas for baby names from books and websites on the internet. The good thing about it that most of them also have the meaning of those names, and you can even search by themes, for example fairy names, Greek names and other topics you never thought of. The disadvantage in this way is that you can get lost in the big lists of names. After reading thousands of names it will be harder to decide.

Some parents choose their baby names in a matter for few minutes just because they always knew how they want to name their children. Sometimes it can be very difficult to the parents and they wait just until the birth to name him or her. But I can assure you that I never heard of a nameless baby so on your due date you probably will have the right name.
