Silk Stalkings: Season 2, Episode 10: The Queen Is Dead (Complete)

Chris goes undercover as a beauty pageant judge to find who murdered the most recent beauty queen. Of note, continuity issues reared their ugly head at the end of the episode. Rita was telling Chris she was in a pageant when she was 12. She told him how her mom made her dress. Well, in “Going To Babylon (1.2)”, Rita told Chris she went into foster care when she was 7 since her wealthy father committed suicide after losing money in a bad deal and her mother had died in childbirth. So, either it is a lack of continuity – or maybe it refers to her foster mom, Sue Lance? Hmm! (Then again, Chris mentioned having a nephew in “Dirty Laundry (1.6)”, and was later found to be an only child.) Gotta love those pesky continuity details – or not! Originally aired on both CBS’ “Crimetime After Primetime” and USA Network in December 1992.
