A Cute Christian Girl, A Beautiful Heart

Anyone who is actively dating will find that there is an incredibly wide variety of individuals to choose from. This is, obviously, not a big surprise, as there are as many individuals in our world as there are snowflakes on a blistery winter’s day. Nevertheless, it can still make one wonder about how people came to be the who they are. I’ve met and dated so many different types of women that it makes me wonder how stereotypes about women or any other group can get established. I dated a cute Christian girl for a while. I had met her through a Christian Dating site and we ended up seeing each other several times.

We had met online in November and exchanged emails for about three weeks before we decided we would actually meet each other. For my part, I would not describe myself as devout, but my upbringing has taught me to identify myself as a Christian. I still believe in God, I just don’t attend church regularly. Well, as it turned out, our dating happened to bring us into the Christmas season. Now, Christmas dating can be uncomfortable, to say the least. One can never be sure what’s expected of them by the person they’re dating. It’s very important to have this discussion when entering the Holiday Season to remove any doubts, alleviate any fears and ensure that no one’s feelings will be hurt if expectations are not met.

The conversation I had with my cute Christian girl was wonderfully surprising. She did not want to exchange gifts, as she felt that it might place too much pressure on each of us. I agreed and was happy she felt the same way that I did. The one thing she did want, however, was for us to attend a Christmas Eve service together. I accompanied her and was glad that I had, as it reaffirmed my faith and gave me a wonderfully contented feeling. Even though nothing came of our modern romance, it was still very refreshing to date a woman with strength of conviction and a strong set of values. Here was a cute Christian girl who would not compromise her beliefs for anyone. We didn’t work out, obviously, as she felt she needed to be with someone whose faith approximated hers more closely. Nevertheless, I was glad to have spent the time I had with her. I’m sure that someone as beautiful as that would have no trouble finding someone like-minded to spend her time with.
